St. Vincent Announces New Album
The lovely Annie Clark, also known as St. Vincent will be hitting us with more Indie infused tunes later this fall when her album Strange Mercy is released through 4AD. The follow-up to her previous 2009 album Actor, will be out September 12th in the UK and September 13th in the U.S.
Clark is once again collaborating with Producer John Congleton, bringing you some uniquely arranged orchestrations.
According to an issued press release, Strange Mercy finds St. Vincent “redefining the idea of the guitar hero, utilizing the instrument as a pointillist artist might wield a brush. Countless judiciously placed riffs and instrumental flares, each distinct and unique, cohere into grand tableaus.”
