Our childhood pictures sometimes hold the dearest of memories, but also the weirdest poses and most awkward styles. You look back at your photographs with a sense of happiness and nostalgia at the same time. Well, although those moments can’t come back, Argentinean photographer Irina Werning does a great job in recreating them.

Her project titled “Back to the Future” takes a person’s old photo and with that same person recreates the scene in present day.  All her photographs incorporate everything from the subjects’ gestures, to what they were wearing that day, any props that were seen in the background, to the color tones the photograph holds.
