Music You Should Know: Jali

You don’t need to be fluent in French to appreciate his music. I might not know entirely what he’s singing about, but I do know it has to do with the sun…high school French failed to help me on this one. Belgian-based singer/songwriter Jali intertwines the genres of folk and reggae to create a sound that embodies the essence of where he came from to where he was raised. If you like feel-good tunes, this 22 year-old’s music will be right up your alley as he delivers soulful melodies with elegance and charm.
