Delta Spirit has already proven they can handle covers like nobody’s business. Just recently they did a set of Tom Waits renditions for Daytrotter. Now they’re back with their version of the 1964 single “She’s Not There” by the Zombies.
The Zombies’ version was a top-ten hit back in the day. Delta Spirit still keep the essence of the song while modernizing the melodies with singer Matt Vasquez’ rough vocals and some hard-edge guitar licks.
